We commit to co-creating Sacred Space
Our space is created by the energy and spirit of each woman sitting in circle. We also call in the energy and wisdom of the women that have come before us. We commit to honoring this Sacred Space as a safe container for shared truths. Each woman is safe to express their truth using their own voice without dialogue or cross-talk. Because the space we create is sacred, each woman is honored and what is said is held in confidentiality.
We commit to valuing Sacred Wisdom
We value the truth and voice of our sisters. We honor the truth and voice in all women. We respect the right of each sister to call upon their own Sacred Wisdom in their own voice. We honor what is said and felt as a release of pain, trauma, sadness, and fear. It is through this Sacred Wisdom that healing can be cultivated.
We commit to honoring Sacred Tradition
We affirm that we are a part of a tribal sisterhood, locally and energetically across the world. We honor the Sacred Tradition of women who have gathered for centuries by choice or custom. We honor their stories and mysteries by sharing our own stories and sharing in our own rituals and traditions. Regardless of particular beliefs and religious traditions, we honor the divine in each woman through our own tribal customs.
We commit to Sacred Witnessing
We commit to sharing what needs to be shared verbally and energetically. We honor Sacred Witnessing by sharing our stories if we are so called and listening to the stories of our sisters. We listen without the intent to respond but to hear, see, and feel. We also believe that all called to circle are gathered together for a greater purpose. We take what wisdom we need to hear and leave behind what is not ours to take.
We affirm the unique paths of Self-care
We honor the need for Self-care for each woman in circle and to the understanding that Self-care is a journey. That journey is unique to each woman. We honor each woman’s journey to care for herself. We honor that each woman has their own unique life experiences. Life experiences can bring challenges and every warrior must lay down their shield and rest. Our role is not to judge and fix but to listen and support.
We commit to honoring Holiness and Wholeness
We affirm that each sister in our tribe is both Holy and Whole. We commit to honoring the divine in each sister. We also commit to support each sister on their journey and to lift them up. We commit to tending our inner gardens to foster the Holiness and Wholeness within. While we each are on our own journey to understand our divinity, we honor the contribution and value each sister brings to circle.
